Got my beautiful '74 unmodded Model D for $2500 CDN, I've seen modded and otherwise toyed with ones in the same range and up to 4K on eBay. The Toronto craigslist currently has a '79 Model D for the same price.

Thanks, I've gotten everything but the light under control from that. Now I have one more question.

5. When Oscillator Mod is activated and the Modulation Mix favours Oscillator 3, the pitch sharpens as I increase the mod wheel's position. I've tried changing every facet of oscillator 3's ...

New Model D owner

Howdy, I've finally acquired a beautiful and recently serviced Model D (SN #3707) for a more than reasonable price and just have a few questions.

1. Key noise. It almost sounds like the key contacts are very percussive. The action is much better then I expected (the keys are actually level with ...

Well, $895 Canadian... and at least it's in great working order.

I found after my post last night that the guy painted the bottom, too, and he scratched his name and phone number into the paint. He's local. Perhaps I'll give him a call and find out what possessed him to deface a modern piece of art.

Prodigy abuse.

I was lucky enough to acquire a Prodigy yesterday from a thrift shop for $895. It's in great mechanical conditon, all original knobs, all the functions work... but some evil person painted it silver with this thick, chunky paint. The next day I immediately began chipping at the paint and slowly, but ...

Well, I play through a friends v-amp, and while it sounds good, it just sounds like a processed guitar. Is the TC fuzz box still in production? Is it analog? and if not, is there anything replicating it on the market today?

Guitar Distortion with Voyager

Hi. I'm a keyboard player who also tends to solo a lot in my group and as its been stated previously, the Voyager isn't as harsh sounding as its older, less common, less reliable sibling. For some this is a plus, and I have very little presence during my solos. I managed to solve this buy buying an ...

Not really a solo, but more of the octave switching/playing simultaneously seems to occur at the beginning of Machine Messiah by Yes.

Thanks, my voyager isn't that advanced as far as OS is concerned, so I can't adjst the pitch bend in menus. I'm still running 1.0 because it won't respond to sysex, and am probably going to send the Moog back to factory for them to do something about it, but I'd like to learn how to tune the ...

Oscillator/Wheel calibration.

I was wondering how to calibrate the oscillators and pitch/mod wheels without sending the keyboard back to the factory. There must be a way to fix it oneself or with a technician, because I don't live in the states and it'd be great to fix it without having to pay the high international shipping ...

Envelope Gate issues.

Hi,

Whenever I activate the envelope gate on a certain patch, it refuses to sound. On the other 127 patches, however, it does. How do I rectify this?

Problems updating the Voyager.

I've had my voyager for a while now, and am jealous of all of you that have made it to at least 1.5. I'm still stuck here in 1.0 and am wondering if any of you can guide me through, with better detail, how to update it. I am using MIDI-OX and a Behringer FCB1010 as an interface, and if anyone who ...

I've set the drive properly... the audio out is fine, but the envelope filter isn't working properly. I've tried everything possible including what you have mentioned. What I need is to look into the circuity, because the problem is definitely internal, and without someone elses for reference, I ...
