This one I figured out. Sorry for the stupid question.

Under the keys on my minimoog (1981), there are little buffer pieces that, when disintegrated and fallen out, result in the key rising above the other keys. I know this isn’t a technical issue, but the little pieces are crumbling under the keys, and need replaced with something to even up a few keys ...

I took my 1981 minimoog apart to refinish the cabinet, and now, setting the keyboard back in place, it sits too low, so the keys are almost resting on the cabinet wood, and there is a visual gap at the bs k so you can see the screws holding the plastic keys in. I don’t think I misplaced anything ...
