Check again, it's back!
I noticed it gone the other day and might have been worried if they hadn't also just made a new product page for the Matriarch.
Same ol firmware though!

Anyone know of this Matriarch sequencer demo video?
Does anyone remember or have saved the video where they showed a good method for making a blank kind of long sequence with metronome on the Matriarch and then while still in Rec mode going back and writing in new notes in real time and removing the metronome? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Re: Matriarch Sequencer Rate
Ah, this is so helpful!
I think this is a bug with the Matriarch causing it to max out at 140bpm when switched on. I am on 1.2.3 an I think I found a "solution". Press and hold the "tap" tempo button and voila, the rate will double up. Unfortunately it won't stay when you power off but at least ...

Re: Matriarch as MIDI controller - Sustain Pedal Issues
Anybody else with the newest firmware able to get a sustain pedal to function with Local Control turned off? I've been trying to use the Matriarch with my setup for what must be a year now and this limitation is starting to really annoy me.

Re: Matriarch: Control LFO Amount w/Aftertouch?
I realize this is an old thread but, the wiring and effort involved to get aftertouch to vibrato to work on the Matriarch is a mess.
- the aftertouch signal is way too strong
- the LFO signals are way too strong
- the attenuverters struggle to achieve the fine-resolution at minimal settings to ...

Re: Matriarch Sounds Weak
I would also test with the filter set to Stereo LP/LP and not Series HP/LP since you could be cutting off some of the low end with the HP, depending on the Spacing setting.

Re: Cutoff potentiometer/knob replacement?
Remove the bottom panel of the Matriarch.
Locate the cutoff potentiometer. It is a small, blue potentiometer located on the main circuit board....
I hope this helps!

Re: matriarch question - fixed pitch oscillators possible?
I had that feeling too and now it seems certain. Can't believe all that power is already being wasted on synthesizer forum disinformation. Just before the firings too!sdwillingham wrote: Sat Sep 23, 2023 9:13 pm That’s weird advice. Doubtful information, with an odd twist of enthusiasm. Seems like it was written by an AI.

Re: matriarch question - fixed pitch oscillators possible?
Turn Off Oscillator Pitch Tracking: To make an oscillator not track pitch, you can use the PITCH knob. Turn the PITCH knob all the way counterclockwise (fully left) for the oscillator you want to use as a drone or for modulation purposes. This effectively sets the oscillator to a fixed frequency ...

Re: Matriarch Midi Velocity
I recorded a clip into Ableton from the Matriarch with varying velocity which i patched to modulate the envelope to filter amount. I was able to play and hear the velocity response, record the velocity into Ableton, and when i play the clip back from Ableton the MIDI velocity changes are reproduced ...

Re: Matriarch Midi-to-CV to possible?
Hello everyone.
I'm deciding these days if buying or not the Matriarch, and this is THE dealbreaker for me, because I will not follow the line of full modular approach anymore, but I do like the workflow of this specific machine.
Did you try the 1.3 version? Is the MIDI to CV working finally ...

I post this only to try to be helpful, but I don't have an issue with Midi Clock Sync. My Matriarch is conected via USB to Mac via Ableton. I have whatever the latest firmware is.

I think you just turn it up! Triangles are always lower in volume than saws and squares because they have way less harmonics.

Re: Matriarch Filter Change? Please check my sanity
I just did a quick test and i seem to have the same result as you. With the cutoff at around 200hz, it seems like it's filtering everything out, though i noticed if i did play well down into the low keys i could begin to hear muffled bass. I isolated filter 2 (LP) and to be sure it wasn't just a ...

Re: Matriarch Arp/Sequencer confusion with Ableton
Someone from Moog tech told me that Logic did something different than Ableton and needed a slightly different setup, but I don't use Logic. Maybe that was their reasoning for not having any DAW setup instructions. I'm still kind of mad about that.
