Yes, I have a couple. One for the Moogerfooger and one for the Echo Czar. You probably know they're modified Ernie Ball Jr volume pedals. I like them a lot. They're sturdy and just feel right.

You can get a VP Jr modded for Moog from www.toneczareffects.com. Very nice expression pedals.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to record myself on the digital recorder and then try to play it back through the Murf. Seems simple enough if I can find the right cable to connect them.

Noise generator?

OK, so I'm playing the violin (or whatever) through a Murf, and have only two hands and it's taking forever to fool around with the different settings on the Murf. So, would a "noise generator" free up my hands, so to speak, from the instrument so I could fool with the settings on the Murf ...

I find expression pedals are useful for the Murf and the tap tempo footswitch is also useful. I don't care for the Moog expression pedal but I really like Ed Rembold's (Toneczar) "Moog version" expression pedal (from an Ernie Ball VP Jr.).

I recently bought a Murf and had the "popping" noise when switching off (bypass). I was running my electric violin with peizo pick up into the Murf and then into the amp. Even more recently I put a preamp (Presonus AcoustiQ) between the violin and the Murf. Well, the popping noise ...
