Well, that's really a question you need to answer yourself. You could always send your Rogue to a repair shop. The vintage synth forums had a thread that listed repair shops.. http://www.vintagesynth.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4290&sid=da2bebaea017420752c3853d335a1547

Otherwise, whether you get ...

I don't understand the concept of a "poor mans VX 351." If you have the money to spend $3000 on a Voyager, what is the big deal with spending another $300 to get the VX?

I'm also curious about this. I'm not sure exactly how you would go about chaining Voyagers.

I do own a polyevolver, and I can't wait to add a polyevolver rack. Dave Smith really thought this feature out, seems super easy.

Thank you, everyone, for your replies. Especially the guitarists. Hearing that people who don't even play keyboard as their primary instrument are happy with paying $3k for the Voyager puts my mind at ease. It must be really impressive.

I would love to demo one but I am in Cincinnati and none of ...

I have been a guitarist for the past 12 years, only got into synths maybe 4 years ago. I purchased a MicroKorg, but was frustrated with the interface...it made things seem very confusing, and I just wasn't satisfied with it. Well, somehow or another I ended up buying a Voyager Electric Blue. Yes, it ...

Yes, the big silver pedals with large knobs on top or on the side. The knobs were serrated so that the guitarist could change them with his foot.

Yes, definitely. I have the Fuzz one and you can indeed change controls easily with your foot. I read somewhere that the wheels are supposed to light ...

The device was simply pedals Oberheim had designed for Maestro put into a single cabinet. Great idea, huh?

Wow, thanks for the info!! Interesting that Maestro wanted such a large cabinet, when they also released the Rhythm 'n' Sound units (a guitar version and a brass version), which seem to ...

Exactly. If anything, it's odd he doesn't mention Oberheim in his item description, but does mention Moog... ??? Somebody should ask him for pictures of the inside! :)

A fuzz/distortion is almost the last thing I would imagine Moog making, but now that you mention it, I always thought it might be cool to have a voltage controlled fuzz, where you could send an envelope to the distortion level and have it follow your guitar picking...

I have a bunch of Fuzz ...

Is this REALLY Moog designed? I know Bob designed a line of pedals for Maestro in the 70s, so it is possible.

To be honest, I've never even SEEN one of these things ...

i'm absolutely FIENDING for a osc/env gen/amp moogerfooger to hit the ground running soon. it wouldd seriously make the entire moogerfooger line a more viable product.

moogerfoogers are a lot like transformers. :P

Update: (just in case anyone else ever has this problem)

I spoke to Amos at Moog, and he feels it the transistor that controls the LED has failed. I'm shipping it back to Moog for repair.
