Re: New Moog Factory Tour Video
Hey that was great!!
Thanks for posting, it's good to see what goes on in the factory. Enjoyed the Matriarch discussion with the designer dude, and it was neat to see some calibration tips on the Grandmother; of course the droolworthy large modular build was fascinating too
Happy Birthday to Bob!!
And thx to everyone at the Moog factory, they obviously take pride in their work. Glad they are making an effort manufacture stuff in the USA.
Ps I saw a reference to a Daniel Fisher who programmed "on the run" into a Kurzweil(?) for the Pink Floyd live tour back in the '80's or '90's....apparently the band would leave the stage and the multitimbral synth would play the whole song solo, with the spotlight shining on it. Was that you who programmed the sequence?

Yeah, I made that back in 1992 when I was working at Kurzweil in Waltham, MA.
If you edit it on a K2-Series synth you'll find lots of Easter Eggs in the naming of all the Objects.

Re: New Moog Factory Tour Video
This is a great video! I liked the "artist relations" part - Moogerfoogers changed my life in 2002 - I thought I was buying "effects" but was actually embarking on an analog synthesis journey. Incorporating it into my music again is fun - but I gotta break out some manuals for a refresher course!
I know I want the DFAM/Subharmonicon Sound Studio bundle - if I could just make the leap...

Thanks for this inside the factory video. I enjoyed it in full length.
I would have liked to to see more details steps of the Moog One assembling.
