Re: loop da murff
Wow-- that is really neat. I find it hard to get a pleasing sound but there are sweet spots. It's amazing how much variance you can get to. Thanks for highlighting this for us.

Re: Desktop container for Moogerfooger rack?
You can fit 6u rails on the top, and 2u on the bottom. If I ever get a 3rd Fooger I'd consider building another DIY rack like this http://www.gearslutz.com/board/8780680-post49.html.

Re: Phantom Delay MF-104M
I never thought to have no input and see what sound would come out. I actually sort of liked those noises. Yeah, there's something alive an unpredictable in analog.

Re: MIDI MuRF pattern editor released!
"The requested page could not be found." Are there any other sources for the download!??! Adam. Hmmmm. Tried it just a few minutes ago and it seemed to work ok. Here's the direct link that I used: http://www.moogmusic.com/products/moogerfoogers/mf-105m-midi-murf#downloads-tab Hope that he...

Re: The little thumb tap tempo/step project for the MF-105
Yeah-- agreed. This looks like a cool project. If you ever are able to produce enough of these to sell, I'd likely be interested. A rack option makes lots of sense for those with racks. For me, though-- I'd probably enclose it in something and have it sit next to the MuRF. Hmmm-- I wonder if Moog co...

Re: Dropped and stuck notes even with new firmware
For me it's pushing the arpeggiator button twice very quickly. That seems to stop the hung note. My setup includes a MonoMachine, MonoTribe (w/ MIDI mod), all routed through a MOTU MIDI Express Xt. The problem was happening a lot until I switched the channel on which the LP an MonoMachine talk to ea...

Re: midi murf sync
I have had great experience syncing with the MonoMachine, as well as syncing with Numerology app. However, when attempting to sync with Logic... all kinds of tweaking needed to be done, and lots of reading the fine manual, and even then it seemed almost hit or miss. It does have a lot to do with the...

Re: SP: Low Volume and static when plugged into FireFace 400
Wow-- there goes my theory. I was experiencing a buzzing sound whenever I connected my Phatty or MicroKorg via USB. That buzzing went away once I started using a MOTU Micro Lite MIDI-DIN cable interface (synths connected via MIDI-DIN cables to Micro Lite, which is connected via USB to powered USB hu...

Re: SP: Low Volume and static when plugged into FireFace 400
With regards to the static noise-- I had that, or something similar, happen as well. The static noise went away once I disconnected the USB connection on my LP. I've since gotten a MIDI-DIN cable interface and have not heard the sound since.

If you are on a Mac, definitely download Numerology to demo. It is a step sequencing program (kind of like the Matrix Pattern Sequencer in Reason, but about 1,000,000 times more flexible/powerful) and is really useful for controlling a Little Phatty via MIDI. I find it to be really inspiring. Bryan...

I think I have a similar issue. I have MIDI cables going to my MOTU Ultralite audio/midi interface. Though I have the Phatty itself set to only input and output on MIDI channel 4, it triggers other software instruments and various controls (Phatty's volume knob controls the Phatty's volume level in ...
