MIDI & USB not working on LP stage II

Help! the MIDI and USB are not working on my Little Phatty Stage II (OS 2.0 530). My Macs (both OSX.6.3) can't see it and it in either Audio/MIDI setup or Logic Pro. It neither transmits or receives MIDI (tested with my Studiomaster MA36 MIDI analyser) I'm in the middle of a project and really need to be able to connect it, any ideas?
