Greetings,

Today I am releasing the reissue of my 1990 recording, Ancestral Voices.

http://www.coraconnection.com/pages/ancestral.html

Several tracks were composed back in late 80s using the Moog Song Producer software &
a Commodore 64. When I went into the studio to track the different synths, we recorded
a TTL clock on track 24 of the 2" multi track for each of the different songs, then added other overdubs.
Dr. Click's Minidoc was used to interface the tape to Moog Song Stepper MIDI box.
Check out the sample of 'Dragon Fly Dance'

About the music:

This music has been out of circulation for twenty years. Recorded before
the home studios, 'DAWs' (Pro Tools) changed landscape of the recording
industry. Ancestral Voices features a mixture of world music traditions
mixed my 'organic' use of electronics with world folk instruments --
from Africa to India -- while other tracks feature my exceptional
performance on the West African harp-lute, kora. Give a listen to
samples online, I think you will agree that Ancestral Voices still sound
fresh and timeless as did back when it was created.

Please feel free to let your colleagues and friends know about these
exciting electronica 'world music' release.
