CP-252 - my dream Moogerfooger

Hey Moog, could you build this for me?
I did the easy part (Photoshop), now all you have to do is the hard part (build it).
It's an 8-step sequencer with two simple envelopes.
The sequencer repeats in LOOP mode, but click the rocker switch to TRIG and it goes into "single shot" mode, which means that a pulse at the trigger input immediately runs the sequencer through steps 1-8 at the current rate, then stops. This could also be used as a "reset" input.
Each step of the sequencer sends out a GATE signal, and you have control of the gate length (globally). The GATE signal defaults internally to both envelopes, but you can bypass it by plugging something into the TRIG input of an envelope.
ENV 1 is an AD envelope that ignores the gate length and goes straight into the Decay cycle after the Attack has finished.
ENV 2 is an AR envelope that sustains the final Attack voltage until it receives the GATE OFF signal, and then it goes into the Release cycle.
So, what do you think?
Also, here is a link to a bigger version:

Awesome design, and REALLY nice photoshop! I'd buy it.

Looks very nice.
People have been asking for one for awhile now.
It would be neat to have Attenuators/Inverters on there as well. (a pair)
I have a Dot com Q119 and sent it to the CP-251 Inverters almost always.
Great design.

I'd buy this! Great job! Now we just need to convince Moog to make it. Jaime

Thats really nice. Does it have the abillity to link to other sequencers via the sync out?

Well, since it only exists in my mind, I'll say SURE!
But theoretically I think plugging the GATE OUT from one unit into the SYNC IN on another unit would sync them up.
At least, it will if, er I mean WHEN Moog makes it.

I REALLY like this. Especially the Gate Length function. What would be a good place for a 7-way switch (for selecting the number of stages)?

That would be good to, but I ran out of imaginary panel space.
It is possible already though, using an external LFO into the TRIG input.
In TRIG mode the sequencer would restart as soon as it receives an external signal, so you could adjust the rate of your LFO to reset it after just 6 steps, or 5, or whatever you want.

This thread inspired me to work with my Q119 sequencer. It is a great piece of kit.
This demo is done with the Voyager and a few Moogerfoogers. 100% analog mono.
Quite diverse.
Thanks for watching.

Nice sounds there, analoghaze.
I think Moog will eventually make another CP unit. A dedicated VCA would be nice on there too.
If you have a Little Phatty but no Voyager, and you rack up your CP-251, you have an empty space left for another unit.
I have an empty space and some money. Moog, are you listening?

A sequencer would be so quick to develop & market for Moog too.
Prototype in a week, testing for a couple months.. pretty simple circuitry.
A sequencer is sorely missed in the Moogerfooger line.
I'm sure enough people would buy them to warrant Moog cranking one out for us.
It would be nice to daisy chain two CP-252s.

You could just have 2 slew limiters instead of the basic envelopes -- feed a gate into one and it'll function just like an AR envelope
