Do you guys think there would be any interest in the aftermarket for custom wooden cases for the Little Phatty?

I don't see why not. Synthwood does a good trade with other synthesizer wood upgrades.

I think a lot of it would come down to finding out what the market wants (i.e. what species of wood, which style(s), the thickness of the material, what kind of finish is applied, etc.)

it would be easy enough to lay the panel flat and re-use the keybed and left-hand control assembly. I bet the LP would look pretty neat in a traditional Rogue-style case.

I'm 100% in favor of wooden frames AND raised control panels.

The ability to raise and lower the panel would make transportation just that bit easier...

If appearance is the issue, wouldn't it make more aesthetic sense to place the inputs and outputs on the back of the control panel, rather than have them jutting out from the side and ruining the wooden cheeks? Like a Voyager. The LP looks to me like it had a couple of bites taken out of it.

Hey Amos, do you think it would be possible to non destructively rehouse the LP, so you can put it back together later? I'm thinking you're going to have to take a pick axe to the top panel...?
