Taurus 3 - Now Shipping

We are pleased to inform you that we are now shipping the Taurus 3 Bass Pedals.

The fact that we are shipping, unfortunately, does not mean that we are shipping YOUR order. We have a 4-5 month backlog and each one is hand-built here in the factory. It will take some time to build all 1,000 pieces. Please be patient with us. For the most part, orders will be shipped on a first come, first served basis.

We will notify you in advance of shipping your unit if you purchased your Taurus directly from Moog. At that time, we will advise the total to be charged to your credit card. If for some reason, you cannot accept the unit at this time, please understand that with the demand we have for these units, we will not be able to hold any. A delay will cause your unit to be rescheduled towards the end of the build. So be prepared, your unit will be coming soon.

If you purchased your Taurus from one of our Authorized Dealers, we will notify them prior to shipping their order.

Having said that, take all the time you need building and shipping them.

Status - Should I be worried?

So, I place my order in May 2009 with Moog online here. Am I at the bottom of the list? Also, is there any way to confirm I'm even still on the list? I didn't respond to the request for credit card info via email that was requested in Nov. I emailed Moog and told them my CC info was the same as when I placed the order but never heard boo from them to confirm that I was good to go. I also requeste the case too in that email and did not get a response back on that either. :?

me neither, mailed MOOG 3 times, and never got an answer....I'm worried a tiny little bit....

Collective Tones & rkharper, I highly suggest you contact Moog via telephone and actually speak to someone there about your orders. If you did not get billed for your deposits & recieve an invoice, it is questionable whether or not you are on the order list. If it turns out you are not on Moog's list & still want to order a Taurus, I believe several dealers still have units available. Check with Bass Central, Nova Musik and Sweetwater - all authorized Moog dealers with Taurus pedals on order.

Yes, just call Moog. I called a few weeks ago just to make sure I was on the list (I placed my order in December 2008), and they were happy to confirm it for me. Great people in the customer service group.

What's Moog's number?
