In what sense "set it up"?

If you just want to record audio, plug the audio out from the LP into the audio in of your soundcard, arm a Cubase audio track for recording and off you go.

If it is a MIDI connection you're after, plug the MIDI out of the LP into the MIDI in of your soundcard, arm a MIDI track for recording (use MIDI channel 1 for simplicity) and press record. To play it back, plug the MIDI out from your soundcard to the MIDI in of the LP, and play the MIDI track back.

If you want to use the LP like a soft synth, you'll need the LP editor software.

The first hour with your synth, and already plugging it in the the computer? I don't think your phatty will behave itself if you don't introduce yourself. First start by gently stroking your synth, then you can start to twist knobs, and play some keys, then if your lucky, a few melodies, bloops, bleeps, and drones later she will let you use cv. Once you know each other, then you can use the computer. Honestly, i am just trying to spare you a jealous synthesizer.

In all seriousness, good luck with the pc, and congratulations, you just acquired a great synthesizer

Hi.

Could you help me connecting properly my LP to my pc please.

I want to use my LP with the cubase sx3 DAW.

the other synthesizer i have is an Access VirusTI. i have connected it through a usb. then i downloaded its software. i choose a midi channel i want to route it and it plays.

I am trying to connect my LP ith the same way but there i no sound even if the usb is transitting and receiving signal. i think i have to download the vst.?

on the other hand i am connecting the midi out slot of the sound card to the midi in slot of the LP and vise versa. i am oppening a midi channel within the cubase but no sound again. it receivs signal.

the best for me would be to connect it through the usb.

Could u give a hind because i have the LP for 10 days and i am only use it with the headphones. :(

You have to connect the LP's audio output to the input of your PC/soundcard. The USB doesn't transmit audio.
