I just bought the Moog ATA case for my Voyager, and discovered that it has two brick-like pads velcro'd to the inside and was wondering what these would be for.
Could someone enlighten me?
Thanks,
Bob

Just to clarify, this is the molded ATA sold by Moog.

I'm sure this thread must have gotten lost in the shuffle, so I'm bumping it back up.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Bob,
I was just wondering the same thing. I think that they are to be adhered to the inside of the top of the lid, above the keys. It keeps the Voyager from flopping around inside the case. I made that application up myself, but it's the only way that I can see them fitting in the case with the Voyager in it.
It's either that, or some kind of filler for a smaller synth, like an LP, but I don't have an LP. Thus, I dunno.

no they aren't for a LP, there is no way a LP can fit in the Voyager case

I just shipped my Voyager OS from Utah to Michigan via UPS. I am not sure of the exact purpose of the extra pads, but I left them in the bottom. I shipped it with the only packaging being the case. My voyager arrived to Michigan in perfect shape. Not even any outside scratches on the case. So, I am pretty pleased with the case and UPS.

When you say you left them in the bottom, are you referring to the space where the pedals and cords are supposed to go?

I guess so. There is the compartment on the side and then the main area for the Voyager. I left the pads in the main area. That is where they were when I got the case.
