Does anyone have any suggestions for powering multiple foogers? This maze of wall warts is ridiculous. I looked at the DC Power Brick by Dunlop and the Voodoo Labs power box, both decent multipower boxes. Neither has enough amperage to keep the power up after you have switched the polarity with adapter cables. Otherwise it takes 2 power strips fully filled to power my 5 foogers.

Yes it is ridiculous! I have multiple power strips on the floor with spacing for wall warts (one is 7' long) (one is 4') and (one is 6") so far I do not have a mobile set up at all. The whole reason I built this rig was to play live shows. With many MoogerFoogers, CP-251 X2, MP-201 controller pedal, Etherwave Theremin, BCR2000 MIDI controller, DSI Mopho, Frostwave Fat controller and Adrenalinn ll drum machine. You can see that I'm in wall wart hell! It seems that Moog Music would rather release Guitars, Taurus Pedals, and other high dollar items Instead of addressing this damn power supply constraint. I wish they would listen. I, like others have spent a lot of capitol in support of Moog Music products because "WE" like them but sometimes it feels like they really don't listen to there customer's concerns. The Voodoo Labs PP2+ will successfully power the 'foogers on ports 1-4 and 6; I haven't tried the other outputs. I have the Ringmod/Phaser/Lowpass in 1-3, and a Freqbox from port 6 of my other PP2+ (on my 2nd board). I haven't noticed any headroom issues, but at 9v in port 1-4 (switch on the back set to 'normal') the EG has the most range relative to the Gain settings; switch it to 12v without changing anything, and the envelope clamps down tighter, and for instance when using the envelope, the 'fast' switch will make for some very bubbly gurgly sweeps. I haven't done a direct A/B of the PP2+ (at 9v) vs wall-wart, but when I recently got the reversed polarity cables and a 2nd PP2+ and made the switch, I did not notice any changes in envelope settings, headroom or tracking in my normal settings/patches.

I don't have the Bass Murf anymore, but if/when I get another Murf, it will likely go in port 6 as its the highest output, and the Murf was most sensitive to power supplies in my experience. (as well as 'needing' 100ma more than the other foogers iirc). I power my MP201 and a few other AC powered pedals through a small power strip plugged into the 'Courtesy AC outlet' on the back of the PP2+. Great unit- I use two of them for my 20+ pedal set up over two boards, including an MP201 and Behringer FCB1010 on the ground, and only two power chords for the whole setup that go to the mains- one from each PP2+ mounted under my Pedaltrains. The PP2+ has isolated outputs, unlike the DC Brick which is a glorified One-Spot, so you can power pedals of both polarities from separate outputs, and you can daisy-chain the outputs to power multiple low-draw gear from a single output, as well as the ability to power a powerstrip full of wallwarts via the AC outlet in back.

I think a specialized power supply is in order. I only have 3 'Foogers right now, but plan on owning a total of 10-14 someday. Knowing that there are other people with this number of 'Foogers, I don't see why Moog COULDN'T build a power supply to power 6-10 'Foogers at once.

I am powering the following the a Vodoo Labs power supply:

MF-101 - Low Pass
MF-102 - Ring Modulator
MF-104Z - Delay
MF-107 - Freq Box

If you plug these in the right plugs that have the power then they all work no problems. I spoke with Vodoo Labs and they told me how to configure my foogers when I ordered. They were suprizingly helpful and all I was doing was ordering adapter power cords.

Pedal Power 2 Voodoo Labs. That is what I use. Make sure you get the reverse polarity cable...

The people at mesa-boogie told me this would not work, but Moog says it will. Hopefully it will mates.

It works well for me me.

Problem is... there is NOT one unit manufactured today that provides 6 outputs of polarity, voltage, & CURRENT required for the MoogerFooger line!

Moog listened when we wanted a dust-cover for the Little Phatty...
