Hi,
I'm planning on buying the moogerfooger delay and I really wonder between the MF-104 and the MF-104Z.
Which is better to get any why? (assuming i can find an MF-104)

Thanks.

interesting

that's interesting...
are there any technical differences between the two?
i know the delay times are different:
MF-104 - delay time between 40 milliseconds and 0.8 seconds
MF-104Z - delay time between slightly less than 50 milliseconds to slightly more than 1 second.

but other than this spec info, i'm not sure if they are different...
anyone?

Probably the prices if you find a big briar 104 will be higher. The 104z should be superior.

Unless you get the SD which is longer and a collectors item.

@EricK - I know this is an old thread but I am hoping you are wrong, as I just picked up a Big Briar Delay!
Do you have any rationale for that superior statement apart from the extra 200ms (edited with an extra 0 to correctly reflect difference ) of delay? BTW - It was also less expensive than some z's I have seen going for lately.

Found the above quote in this older thread ...that, subjective as the comparison might have been, makes me think (hope) there may be minimal differences. Oh, and I'd love to pick up an SD one day too!!
:D

That would be 200ms
Anyway, congrats on finding one !!

Ha! My bad, yes 200ms! I'm sure I typed 200 but this iPad keyboard just doesn't give the same feedback!
(& thanks! I'm chuffed I finally scored a 104 of any version!) :D

I seem to recall the 104Z had some improvements in S/N ratio along with a longer delay time
