CP-201 CV Epression Out - Little Phatty Filter In

Okay, so I have a question regarding using the CP to control the Filter Cut Off on the LP. Assume my set up is the following. The Little Phatty has a preset where the FCO is at the 10 o'clock position, and the CP is plugged in to the Filter Input with Exp active a 0-4095 range which starts at zero. When I start playing where is the actual Filter Cut Off on the LP, is it 0 or is it at 10 o'clock. When I depress the pedal of course the filter opens and I assume that when I close it all the way it will close the Little Phatty's Filter all the way too. If this is causing problems on way to fix it would be to have a preset on the CP-201 that corresponds to each preset on the LP and would keep the FCO in the proper place.

-and- this is fundamentally different that using the expression pedal with the 'foogers, am I correct, because aside from the using a MuRF, the lowest that a particular parameter goes is where it is set on the 'Fooger, is that correct?

whatyou need to do is look in the LP the exact value that has the FCO in that preset (e.g. 2357) in the presicion mode seccion. The you set your channel in the MP (i assume you was reffering to the MP :)) so that the "initial value" in that channel is equal to the value of the LP preset, in that way the filter will remain just like in the preset until you move the pedal... hope this helps

Yeah, I figured that, or I can do it by ear, I suppose. I really do not want to hassle with different preset for each song and it is easy enough to adjust on the fly. I mainly want to confirm that the LP knob settings behave in a fundamentally different way compared to the 'Fooger knobs settings. Thanks.
