I'll just let you know that the last two used Stage IIs on ebay sold (with shipping included) for 890 and 899 respectively. Good luck though!

also: mods, could we please kill the spambot above me with the whopping 1 post and bad english?

I saw one of those auctions, yeah... kinda depressing really.

I have 1-2 people interested in buying at my price but they're not sure whether they'll pull the trigger in the next 6 days (when my auction ends).

To be honest, I'd rather take a $10 hit from wasting the eBay listing fee than sell it for $300 less than I bought it for... especially since that was like 30 days ago, you know? I'm not that desperate.

And naturally, I think mine's better - better condition, and I turn my bleep around FAST as far as shipping and communication.

I can buy them new in Phoenix for that. Used (new cond) is 750 800. They just aren't that much in demand here.

Oh I totally understand, I let go of my Voyager RME/vx-352/vx-351 for about 650 under what i paid for all of it combined. Sucked but i was desperate enough to have to do it. Luck with the sale.

Argh, I have a feeling that is what I'm going to lose, as I'm presently selling the same set up. :(

eBay is a buyers market, they really don't do crap for sellers anymore (you can't even give negative fb for non-paying buyers.,) and the associated fees are WAY out of control. Unfortunately they have monopolized the market with brand name recognition, so you play ball or don't and have to screw around with people on craigslist and have no recourse or security, really.
Coupled with an economy hobbling along and you've got recipes for rather poor sales on average.

You do sometimes come out OK though... I just find it's more often the higher-ticket items that for whatever reason don't fetch great prices. People expect garage sale deals when they shop on eBay, even with high ticket stuff.

best of luck, the economy sucks butt right now, but i think you should be able to find a taker at that price.

unless i totally misunderstand exchange rates, seems like now might be a good time for a uk buyer to snatch this up? or do i have it backwards...

Aye, however the dollar has gone up quite a bit since about a year ago, when it was at rather historic lows.
