okay here's my situation.
i got that "fatal error: keyboard overrun" message. i'm trying to upload the new operating system but the Master Mode menu only allows me to go as far as the Keyboard Priority menu then it flips out and restarts again.
i ran into these problems when i was using my MPC2000 classic to sequence the LP. in fact my LP has always acted strange when it came to MIDI but i always found a way to work with it.....until now.
please tell me how i can install the new OS 2.1 in this situation.

LP is back from the dead!
i entered hidden mode- CURSOR+ENTER+OCTAVE Down while turning the unit on and ran the firmware update. in hidden mode the LP is automatically set up to read code, so even if you can't scroll to System Utilities in the main Master Menu, you can still update the firmware.
....anyways, there is one small problem i'm having still. since the update, OSC2 seems to drift just a tiny bit. has anyone else run into this problem when updating the firmware?
....okay, i gotta get back to making tunes!
