Hi !
I would like (I'm dreaming) to have the possibility to buy Wood Panels for the LP Stage or Stage II, directly from Moog "Accessories and Spares", like the RME Wood Handles.
Are there other people interested?

I begin a petition :D
So this my vote, for a more woody sound :

Wooden side panels do not exist for the Stage or Stage II.
I think in theory you could use the standard Tribute Edition sides for the Stage 1,
but for Stage II there would need to be entirely-new custom wood sides (and metal insert) designed to accommodate the USB port and different MIDI socket arrangement on the Stage II. So far, there has been far too little interest shown in an upgrade like this to justify the cost of designing, manufacturing, and stocking inventory of new parts like this.
I don't know the actual numbers, but at a guess I'd say we would need a minimum of 100 guaranteed sales to make something like this worth doing.

All the best,

Amos

Thanks Amos ! I know they don't exist and it's difficult to justify effort and cost for something just for cosmetic and a few people...

Maybe with 100 guaranteed sales? with 5,000 LP out of the factory, maybe it worth it ;-)
Come on, LP owners, vote !

Aww...I already have wood sides on my Stage. Otherwise, I'd vote yes. :(

Considering mine are exotic wood with brass inlay, I don't think Moog could affordably supply spares for me. However, if they offered, say, Select Series panels from the Voyager line, I'd buy one pair of each. :D

I would also buy the metal insert for the Stage II if they just offered those.

I don't need all your luxury !
We'll keep it simple, the same simple Moogerfooger wood is fine for me :)

I could go for a pair of those, as well.

I think the woody panels look sharp, but I would not spend any $$$ on them at all. Any extra cash I may have to go into my set up always goes into sound or control. If it makes it that much more enjoyable to play then, they are totally worth it. Just not worth it to me.
