Hi, trying to get started with MIDI! I have a single AE Voyager plugged in to my audio interface on my computer. I have a MIDI track recording my Voyager. It does not miss any notes or act at all strange really except for one thing! There are several paramaters I can edit in the bottom pane of the piano edit view. Velocity is the only parameter that is generated autmatically as I record my playing. Then, say I want to choose volume for instance. There is no volume data there. So, I can draw volume data with the pencil tool in SX. When I play back though, it has no effect. I tried several other parameters as well. Any idea what might be happening?

It may be that Cubase needs to be set up to transmit this information, so the first point of call is to check this out. I use Logic myself, and this has a filter system, which allows certain types of data to be either recorded or ignored, via selecting various icons. Not sure how Cubase does this, but it may well be something similar.

Hope this helps for now.
