Would'nt it be really great...

Dear Moog Voyager users,
I just had an interesting idea, and thought I would share it with you (I joined the forum to do just that!),
The Moog Voyager, together with the VX-351 allows a modular type synth setup, with the Voyager able to be interfaced with other hardware synths, by sending and receiving CV and Gate signals.
Why not take this 'modularity' a step further, and develop a hardware-software interface, to allow Voyager to interface with Arturia's Moog Modular V and Minimoog V software synths? I'm not sure of how this would work - I'm no engineer, but it would seem to me an interesting way to increase the capabilities of the Voyager, by 'borrowing' the various modules of a Moog Modular V for example. For that matter, could it not be extended to other software synthesizers such as the Nord Modular?
I would be interested to hear any responses - is it a dumb idea, unworkable, or something worth exploring.
Malcolm
