I'm ordering one of these units & understand that I can plug my guitar into it & then into my LP. As long as you play cleanly, it should convert the notes into MIDI pitch values.
According to the documentation, its monophonic only which is perfect for the LP, it supports +/- 2 semitone pitch-bends, & note-on velocity information.
Since I play the guitar much better than keys, I'm hoping this will allow me to run explore some solos. In order to switch between patches I was thinking about picking up the Tech21 MIDI Mouse:

Since the Philip Rees MIDI Merge units have been discontinued & the MIDI Mouse & Sonuus G2M each have only one MIDI output, I found:
MIDI Solutions
http://www.velvetsystems.com/c.282308.M ... rfaces.cfm & the
Kenton MIDI Merge
http://www.kentonuk.com/digital_interfa ... erge4.html
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. The Sonuus G2M sounds pretty cool to me.
