I was wondering how you guys(girls??.........I doubt it lol) use your moog products.

I chose Studio because we can't do live yet.

WHat does other signify?

Like using your Moog as a Coffee table? Using your Theremin as a drink holder or to hang your clothes on?

As a decoration like a Model D paperweight?

Or Using Moog products as a hedge against inflation?

I chose combination... Because I use my LP for both studio recording, and live performance. And just for myself as well...

I chose combination because I play for myself and will eventually have a studio with lots of synths, a pair of giant speakers, and some of my own musical electronics projects, which will be for my own and YouTube and Vimeo's enjoyment. Not to mention, offsetting the economic crisis.

I chose combination.

I built a racked MoogerFooger modular with a CP-251. I use it in the studio to make stuff I can't make any other way and have never heard before, I use it live to add an ever changing organic and unpredictable element to my music. I also record the sound of it so I can save a patch forever as an audio loop and use it in a track or playing live. I mostly use it for fun to see what kind of crazy combinations of pedals I can try and still not see smoke coming out of it. It is also nice to know that the money I spent was on a synth pedal made here in the U.S.A.

Hahaha thats about right. I have a couple dead synths I use as wall decoration in my studio.

Moog totally needs to make the modular silverware holder lol

You buy three of them, remove one side, and put forks in one, knives in one, and spoons in one. It helps if they are racked sideways with the one wood panel on the bottom.

I use my Electric Blue both in the studio and on stage. Having the Mini in my available arsenal has also made me more popular as a session player too!! Always a good thing in my book.

Is there anything cooler than a backlit Minimoog Voyager on a totally darkened stage?

I think not!
