Did anyone see that video of the thirsty Koala after the terrible bushfires in Australia? I live in that town, luckily we weren't affected in terms of human loss but that bit of forest is just down the road from me.Very sad on so many levels, our fires were about a week before the ones that resulted in deaths n other parts of Victoria. It was quite scary at the time,30 houses were lost about 10 km away, lots of chocking smoke and glowing skies. I had all my moog gear wrapped up in doonas so they wouldn't get smoked out and it worked well, they don't smell at all! That bit of forest was really beautiful and was home to so many unique birds, lizards, insects, spiders and of coarse koalas. Used to walk there every Sunday.Anyway I thought I would just write in to put in the human factor to this tradgedy that is just a vision of horror on the tv screen for people who don't live here -take care

While I live in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, it's quite scary to think that in a couple of hours drive there are fires raging out of control, and families without homes or belongings. Stay safe mate!

I'm in Bendigo and was on ember alert,it was truly a day from hell.I was worried about evacuating, but it didn't get to that.I was concerned about the Voyager and model D,thanks god for insurance but nothing replaces the D.All ok here. Cheers
