After spending 5 days with the MiniMoog OS

This is the best Synth I have ever played in my life. I am still so impressed about the sound and the unbelievable KISS -Factor (KEEP IT SIMPLE and STUPID) of the user interface that I cannot go to bed.
And: the OS can (!) compete soundwise with the D Modell, which is here on my side. The Voyager OS is just the Modell E.

Welcome tot he Forum and congradulations on that purchase.
Please post some pics so we can see those side by side.

yes! i am glad that you are enjoying the OS that much. your thoughts only increase my impatience in awaiting mine. i agree you should post some photos of the new beast. even side to side next to it's predecessor.

It is very easy to start a Flickr account. Do you use Yahoo for e-mail? Then it's REALLY easy to upload photos onto Flickr.

i feel your pain! i keep watching my tracking number, but it is still almost a week away.

THat is Moog Purgatory.
The mental state of being in a perpetual waiting period for a Moog. Symptoms manifest upon order comfirmation, and consist of constant checking of the tracking number coupled with sporadic periods of elation and elevated euphoria. Full onset of acute symptomatic anxiety and restlessness manifests from the point in which the the tracking number shows the product is "Out For Delivery" to the time period just prior to relinquiching ones signature to the delivery person. At this point prior to the actual delivery, symptoms include excessive gazing out of the window and impulsive front door opening.
Symptoms begin their decline from the arrival of the delivery truck and full transition to Moog Heaven begins immediately after the subject relinquishes their signature.
Note:
On some rare ocassions, Early Onset Moog Purgatory begins to manifest within months weeks or days prior to having the money to order the Moog product.
