Hi,
New Voyager user here, finally managed to get my first Moog, a used Anniversary Edition with the V3 OS update

Not had a great start so far as when the guy I bought it from got it out to demo it for me the headphone output was dead and even though there was sound from the main outs, it was full on with no VCA control.

Luckily we managed to find a post on here that described a similar problem that someone else had experienced and a possible cure and I took a chance that I could get it repaired and bought it (at a reduced price)

Now just over a week later I've got the faulty chip replaced and it is up and running but it seems that the oscillators are out of tune or not scaled properly.

I've read through a lot of posts here and there seem to be lots of problems with tuning/scaling/calibration, which isn't exactly making me feel too great at the moment.

Is there troubleshooting guide anywhere where I can find all the possible issues I need to check so I can identify what I need to do?

If it were me, Id just return it to Moog and have them service it. Or since you are in the UK maybe send it to their location there and while you are at it, get all of the upgrades that go with it.

SOmeone can direct you to the proper people in the UK to handle that. It would certianly be worth it for an Anniversary edition.

Thanks, but I'm not sure who the UK distributor is now Turnkey are no more and in many ways I'd rather get it sorted myself

Get into contact with RL on this forum....next to writing the OS for the Voyager he is also working as a European service center situated in Germany.

He can also do upgrades if you would like to.

Well, after spending some more time with the Voyager I think it is probably OK, it just takes a lot longer to get in tune with itself than I was expecting

Jez, good to see you here. About time you got a Voyager. I think you will love it. Sorry you have had a couple of problems. Sounds like things are looking up, however. How long does it take your Voyager to warm up? I too have an Anniversary Edition, and it takes mine about 5 minutes to get in tune. I know that you perform live often. I might suggest bringing a digital guitar tuner with you to get osc. 1 tuned. I have noticed my Voyager's tuning pot gets nudged often via transport. After warmup I will call up an init default patch and tune osc. 1. Once I have done that my Voyager is good for the night. Rarely does my AE need tuning when in the studio.
