Man today I took the Voyager out ofthe house for the first time...had to pack it in its original packing material because I can't afford a case yet.
I took it to a friends studio (which he smoked in.....my voyager should live in a bubble) and I totally missed having my rack of foogers with it.
Its so convienent being able to just reach over and tweak some knobs its so beneficial to the sound.
Is there a word for being Moog spoiled?
Like when you buy a totally expensive thing like a new Voyager or a Moog guitar and you are still mad cause you NEED the Murf or the Multi-Pedal.
and several vintage modules....
and a ribbon controller
and a string filter
and a vocoder
and a Model D
and a Liberation
And the Moog belt buckle?
lol

Hi Eric!
this is Yannis. Man, I know exactly what you are talking about. I am always taking care of my equipment - perhaps too much care. In fact I would like to make a public announcement. I sometimes kiss them!!!

(There, I said it - of course this happens only when I get an amazingly good sound or write a great tune with it)
I know, I know - I should seek psychiatric help..
Regards,
Yannis

I think I bow to mine, the slightest of nods, the most profound respect for its creator and an instrument that is capable of humbling you with its complexities.
Eric
Someone on this forum a few years ago made a comment
"...and I know that some people here take their man machine love a little too far."
While I felt at the time that comment was directed at me, again I know we aren't alone haha.

I think you should clear this up with Amos,I think French kissing your moog will actually void your warranty. Also mortifying to explain.

i have a special room where we meet.
there i fumble her knobs, she pleasures me, takes me up, puts me down.
oke i spent lots of money on her.
nobody knows of the bond we have. love all the times we spend together, the experiences we shared. she learned me a lot
i wouldn't want to miss her.
i'm a ( more) happily married man.
though sometimes a little guilty feeling creeps on my back: ? am i cheating on my wife?
