That's a great promotion. Alas, I bought my LP two weeks too soon.

Man, I REALLY wish I had the money NOW for an Old School. Of course, I already have a 251...but you can never have too many of those! I'd also need a bigger room...there's no place for another keyboard. Or an extra 251.

I have 0 CP-251's. I sold mine and put the money towards my MP-201. I think it was the right decision, but I'm missing some of the functionality of the CP-251 - the lag processor, in particular. If Moog can add a lag processor to the MP-201, then I don't think I'll miss having a CP-251 much at all.

See, I use the 251 to mix the signals of the Little Phatty, MF-102 and MF-103. So I would miss the lag processor, four channel mixer, four way multiple and two attenuators. That's a lot to give up! Especially since the MP-201 doesn't do what I need it to. It just does everything else.

This is great news! I already have a CP-251, but two would be even more fun. Now to get that Voyager I've been waiting for! 8)

Here's hoping my Xmas bonus cheque is sufficient to cover a Voyager OS. I already have an LP, and wouldn't mind adding another puppy to the litter. The CP-251 would be just the right gravy!

*fingers crossed*

An LP, Voyager OS, and a CP-251? Sounds like a semi-modular modular. Something I would be interested in if I had a Christmas bonus.

I almost always seem to buy Moog gear a couple months before they have rebates, etc. & don't qualify.

now do "open boxed" , "floor model" and "scratch and dent" synths qualify for this deal as long as they are from an authorized moog dealer? or is it only on new synths

Great question! Thanks for bringing it up, ColorForm! We flatlanders gotta stick together, you know? Especially since we go to the same music stores. :D

That is really a great offer and exactly what I need to materialize my plan to buy a Voyager before christmas ... I thought. But now that I checked the Moog website for authorized Moog Dealers in Germany I found that there is only one such dealer (e:m:c). They offer the Voyager Electric Blue for approximately 300 Euro above the normal street price. And 300 Euro would more or less be the price for the CP-251. So it seems that the special offer is actually not so special at least for Germany, or did a miss anything?

You can still have a Moogy Chrismas... EMC is our distributor in Germany. There are many, many authorized dealers. Please check with EMC for a list of authorized German dealers... http://www.emc-de.com/

It is very probable that the "street prices" you are seeing are from authorized dealers.

Thanks for clarifying this. I guess that this year's Christmas will be electric blue in Berlin.
