everyone:

i have just updated my stage edition to version 2 (i'm using Mac OSX with intel chip). my value knob has always been a problem (pressing it advanced the presets by one, but turning it did nothing at all). i thought that updating the OS would fix it.

well now, using 2.00, the value knob doesn't work at all and i don't know what to do. this is really a big problem since i locked the fine tune in the software and now oscillator 1 is permanently out of tune.

any ideas? amos, can you illuminate my world?

it's broken. Or possibly (if it has never worked properly) it's just a matter of a cold solder joint on one of the pins that is used to make turning the knob work.

Pressing the Value knob engages a switch; formerly this switch was used to advance by one preset but in the new OS this switch engages the arpeggiator.
