since we can send CV into the Moog Guitar to control filter and harmonic blend, could we send the carrier out of the ring mod or osc out of the freq box to create FM sounds?

yes

Yes you can do filter FM using the Moog Guitar CV input... sample and hold sounds pretty cool, too!

FM Speed modulation of the Harmonic Blend parameter won't do much - the Harmonic Blend sends differing amounts of drive signal to each of the two pickups. The strings then need some time to react to that change in the magnetic field, so the change is slow (slow compared to FM, that is). For example, when you manually change the Harmonic blend from one extreme to another very quickly (front pickup to rear, for example) you will hear a fairly slow change in the harmonics of the string. This surely isn't a defect of any sort, it's just a fact of the way the Harmonic Mode functions and physics.

Harmonic blend is just about my favorite feature ;-)
