So new hardware options are added, correct?
What is the deal for existing LP I owners? Is there an "LP II Hardware Upgrade" similar to the Voyager 3.0 and Aftertouch improvements?

I second this question.
I just bought my LP Stage (I) in January and I kind of regret not waiting because I could really benefit from the USB option.

Yes, that is the plan. Full details on all possible LP upgrades will be released sometime soon... we're very busy right now making sure we have LP II's ready to ship, but we plan to make all features available to all LP users, on way or another.
