Rack Mounting of MF Pedals

I just received the MF Rackmount kit from Moog, and I just need one clarification: are you supposed to leave the bottom plates off of all three MF pedals when you use the rackmount kit? Or do you just leave the bottom plate off of the middle MF pedal (the one with the sides removed)?

I have all bottom plates attached, I guess it doesn't really matter that much..
