Songs w/ Little Phatty
Song with Little Phatty: "You could have been"
I have a new song published here: http://assar.se.
It's the first one in the player, called "You could have been".
Sung by Urban Eksvärd.
There is A LOT of Little Phatty in it. Every synth you can hear, to be more specific ...
Other 'instruments' used is Reason Drum Kits, Kontakt horns, Fender and Gibson guitar.
Recorded, mixed and masterad in Cubase.
Enjoy (hopefully) and - if you like - comment!

Re: Songs w/ Little Phatty
I've just recently posted a video on MySpace, which not only features my LP and CP-251, but also my new lab coat (as mentioned on another thread a while back)...
http://www.myspace.com/blacktempest1
Sorry if the vid is a bit primitive, I don't own any proper video gear - it was done on a cheapo digital camera! Hope you like.

Here's my latest utter silliness featuring the Little Phatty. It's also a good link for anyone who enjoys lego dancing.

Here's a track which mates the LP with a really old Yamaha organ I found on the side of the road awaiting a council pick-up.
It's interesting when you focus on analogue, you can find some off-the-wall sound sources... thrift shops and throw away stuff can be of excellent use!
Anyway, this song is a bit silly. But I've pushed the LPs lead sound to the extreme in the solo sections. (Using the modulation to affect the filter section mainly).
Hope you enjoy.
I think Ellaways in QLD has them on sale at the moment.

My God, that's awesome! Especially liking that vintage organ. I need to fix up my Farfisa so I can create equally amazing recordings.praxisaxis wrote:Here's a track which mates the LP with a really old Yamaha organ I found on the side of the road awaiting a council pick-up.

Got a lot of accent sounds and effects from the Little Phatty for this track.

I got 2 up on soundcloud

Ditty is a 1st run and wont I've been working out over the last couple of weeks. Both are mixed on the fly, no over dubs or post recording processing. Murf and LP used in both quite a bit.

Re: Songs w/ Little Phatty
Cool, thanks Voltor07 . I'm really only just starting off my electronic music career - have been making music for many years but this side of things is still relatively new to me.
Anyways here's another one - this is fully electro-acoustic. But everything in it totally rides on the LP. Best *%$#@ synth ever (IMO) . Possibly until I get a Voyager. There's a big fat LP solo right in the middle of the track.

Dean Fertita, currently of The Dead Weather, uses the hell out of the LP. Almost every song, on their new album has some Moogy goodness. I don't even own an LP (AE Voyager), but he makes that thing howl and snarl in a very good way.
