System Exclusive & LP

The Little Phatty is my first Moog synth and I have no idea how to create my own System Exclusive messages. Maybe it doesn't work that way...
Anyway, what I'm trying to do is to be able to change the Pitch Bend range in a MIDI sequence.
Does anyone know how to proceed?

Since you can save the Pitch Bend Amount with each preset, I think it would be far easier to simply send a program change message. Each program then has the different Pitch Bend Amount you require.

Thanks for the feedback!
About that, maybe I'm doing something wrong but my Phatty doesn't seam to respond to any program change sent via MIDI through Cakewalk Sonar. I don't understand because the program change sent from the Phatty to Sonar are recorded.
Any suggestions?

I have the feeling that my LP is not working correctly:
1) it doesn't execute any program changes,
2) the system exclusive preset is not processed entirely.
I've been working with keyboards, synths and computer long enough to know how it should work. Both program changes and system exclusive (current preset) seam to be sent correctly from the LP to the computer. But when I send them back to the LP, no changes are registered. The LP do receive the MIDI data.
Could some one tell me if this is the way a LP works?

Hello all,
I have not much response here...
Anyway, I solve my program change problem. It works fine now.
I still have the system exclusive issue. The sounds I create are not stored correctly in a bank nor transferred and/or received as system exclusive. I already lost great sounds because of that...
I don't have the feeling that I'm doing something wrong but I might

.
Can someone at least provide me with a suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

I don't have a LP or MMV yet, i'm saving up for a MMV but I do hope someone can help you. I hate to see someone have problems.
The only advice I could offer at this point is the general things such as making sure there isn't some type of setting (e.g.- memory protect, etc) that disallows saving programs or disables system exclusive messages, etc.
Anyway, back to the top with this thread and maybe someone more familiar with the LP will post a reply.

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate.
I indeed though about that. I even turned on then off the protections just to check. No changes.
I'll keep trying and searching for answers!
(Do you have a Korg MS-10???)

Yes, I have an MS-10... in fact I had been trying to sell it on eBay (to use the funds towards a Voyager) but maybe I am asking too much for it. I don't know... I based my price upon what I had seen ones selling for locally at Big City Music (I guess they sold theirs) and some pawn shops.
It has the Synhouse MidiJack 2 installed. I like the synth and would keep it but because of the complexity of my setup I really need/desire something with patch memory/storage.
I also have a MAM VF-11 (vocoder) i'm considering selling too.
Anyway, enough advertising my things

I wish you luck with the LP and if I think of anything else i'll post.
Best wishes!
