hi all,
i would to send a pr Change to the moog with a clavia.
When I play on the clavia I've got the sound of the voyager but I just want to send the prg change ONLY !

In the Master section of the V3.3 there is a choice to " receive Prg Change" but there is always the note too :(

how can i receive only Prg change by the midi INPUT ?

possible ?
tks

You won't be able to do that from the voyager. Depending on what Nord you have you may be able to decide what to send via MIDI.

You could use a MIDI filter on a computer, but that would involve a computer...

There are also hardware filters that can do the same.
Check out this little gizmo: http://www.midisolutions.com/prodevp.htm
Just plug it between your Clavia and the Voyager.

Hello zgogor,

what you are asking for is something that will not work on most midi synths.
Some clever master keyboards are able to do so.

so, I need to filter " Notes" instead of Prg Change :) .
Sounds Stupid, I know but I wanted to send all my sounds from the NordLead G2X Clavia ...

Well, Thank you for all your answers !!

And You , on stage, how to you change 6 Synths sounds at the same time ?

I use a MIDI Patchbay. This one in particular: http://www.miditemp.com/english/msx.html

It features a nice touch screen which lets you easily make all of the connections between synths and modules and it also sends all kind of MIDI data on the push of a button (or the step of a footswitch) like program change, volume, routing, transpose, layer, split et cetera.

Of course it also has a dedicated MIDI filter and controller re-routing module.

Cool stuff if you don't want to be bothered with a computer on stage.
