Best Companion for the LP

I just want to know what people think is the best companion for the Little Phatty. I have a Murf and RingMod, but I'm curious about the CP251, Low Pass Filter, Phaser and obviously the FreqBox. I've also been looking at stuff like the Korg KP3 and other unique things like that. Just wanted to get some opinions on the topic. Also if anyone has any sound clips of the stuff that I've mentioned (outside of moogspace) I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!

You've got a good setup now, but the CP251 will be a great addition. You'll be able mix, attenuate, and work with multiples. The Phatty which started out as a simple synth is already starting to be a synth with some great modulation complexities.

I think you coukd choose different machines dependig on the use
(studio or live)

for a studio use i'm also thinking to aquire a cp 251...but this is not so
usefull for a liove set...if you use preset...
the setting of a cp-251 or other "not midi/presettable" machines could
not be useful for live if you change a lot of different suonds by presets

for live use i'm using a Rom Player ...and this is very usefull for live...
via Control change you can chenge de preset (midi) on rom player,
it suond polifonically as you play on the LP...if you inject the rompler out
into the audio in of the LP you can filter (monofonically) the suond
with the rigth triggering...and you can add a solo Baas or high note
and
if you use "empty (no sound) preset" as default, on the rompler,
you can have the pure moog sound as default.
So with the only cheng preset on LP you can have filtered presetted poly sound....

I want Moog to make a little sequencer/arpeggiator unit, with the same form factor as the
LP (sloping console, big knobs, similar buttons and overall finish). Imagine how the Sequencer 104
for the Roland System 100 looks, then imagine how a similar thing would look alongside
your Moog Phatty. I wish I was good at photoshopping.

a sequencer would be cool, but wouldn't the price tag exceed $400?
I'd like moog to make some that would have a sonic fuction, but would also have a simple built in oscilloscope...because it would look awesome, and add the scientific side that's inherent in all of Moog's products. A sequencer with an oscilloscope, that'd be great....

Or rather ...
A sequenser (handling midi-data) and a oscilloscope (handling audio signals), as two separate units.
IMO, that is. I'd prefere different function in different units. That way you can select the pieces you want.

Would the Sequencer be completely midi based or have ability to use midi data as well as whatever the...SeqBox (throwing names out there) would have on the actually unit?

Picture something like the Moebius, but in a Little Phatty case stylee.

Rachel, can you post a link or photo of the Moebius? I've been trying to find images of it, to no luck.
