Amusing ebay flub/scam

"This is a used Moog Rogue synth that has been in storage for a few years. Because I don't have the power supply for it, I cannot test it"
I've read guides that warn against trusting someone who claims to not be able to test a synth they have listed on ebay.
"Some of the knobs on the sliders are bent to the side, but this does not effect their operation"
I'm especially wary of users who claim that defects do not affect its operation when they *just said* they can't test the unit.
