11v triggers and the CP-251 = fried?

I'm using a TR-606, which can output two 11v triggers. I'd like to set one of them as the gate input on the Sample and Hold of the CP-251, but it seems to only accomodate up to +5v.

Can I use the 11v triggers without frying the CP or otherwise damaging it?

Probably, but why risk it? Instead, run the TR-606 trigger into one of the attenuators on the CP-251 and set the attenuator knob about half way. Connect the attenuator out to the S&H Gate In. You might have to adjust the attenuator knob up a bit if the S&H doesn't trigger initially, but the half-way setting should be fairly close to 5V.
