Hi all!

I'm considering moving parts of my studio home and I have a LP.

My question is: is the LP:s MIDI out polyphonic, I don't have the space for another MIDI keyboard but i want to play chords in Reason..

Thanks.

Most Definitely.

I just started messing with MIDI a few days ago, so I'm new to it. But after reading your post I decided to see for myself.

It works fantastically, great for chording and the like. The Pitch wheel works automatically to.

It sure is. I use my LP to control a Jupiter 6, among other things!

Thanks!

That's great, then I don't have to buy a shitty MIDI controller.

the only problem is that you can't exclude cc transmission.

What kind of problems does that cause in Nuendo and Reason?

turning OFF CC's while leaving ON midi note output would be a nice addition to a future OS. I'll put it on the request list.

Meanwhile, many DAW programs (I suspect Nuendo is among them) can filter out incoming CCs within the DAW. You'd just have to set up a filter if you needed it. What this could do, for example, is inadvertently change parameters on the softsynth you are controlling whilst you are tweaking knobs on the LP. There are a lot of ways to manage this however; I use the LP as my main MIDI controller in Ableton Live and haven't noticed any problems yet.
