Ahem, er, sorry about this but I'm a bit upset......javascript:emoticon('')

Can the birthplace of Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman
please have some Moog LP's?

Boy this is a long wait to get a LP. It was February when London's
Turnkey said they would be available.

After several due dates came and went in April and May I was
informed by sources on this forum early June and Turnkey that
Monday 11th June would be the day. Just called Turnkey. Now they
say 'beginning of July'. This is painfull. Every time a due date is
announced by the time it arrives it is cancelled.

What's going on Moog Music? I laid a non refundable deposit down
in early March and made big plans for playing my LP at festivals
and on recordings this summer. What use to me is a nice synthesiser
that I don't have? Introducing a new synth to my band's tunes and
live rig requires alot of planning and effort for me. A couple more
months of this and I won't bother and I'll have to spend my deposit on something else.

ring up turnkey and give them some grief and maybe they can give you a revised delivery date. it frustrating but i never trust what these big music shops tell you.

The same feel here. I buy a few years ago a cheap Yamaha controler in a big music shop in Argentina (where I live) and the controler (Midi via USB) work only one day. I want to change it, I want a Midi midi controler (no USB). The new one was cheaper, but they didn“t give the rest in cash. I feel very silly, but this year i spend around 3000 dollars in music rig and the big music shop has 0 dollars of my money (I promise never buy there). Lucky me, in Argentina the oficial Moog seller is a small music shop with an excelent and personal atention.

If I where in your shoes I will ring and ring to Turnkey all days until I have my LP. Trust me, the LP is an adiction.

Pd: Sorry for my bad english

Thanks for the advice Goldphinga and Sergiovalente9 but Turnkey are
sure that there will be no Little Phatty Stage editions turning up until
2nd July at the earliest and that date came because Moogmusic had to
delay their shipment for the third time.

They are also adamnent that none have turned up over the last month.
Apparently I was number three in line one month ago so if some LP's had turned up I should have been notified....... unless there's been some foul play.

OR

Welcome to the UK.

I agree that just hounding them over and over should get you some information worth hearing. If you put down a deposit on it months ago you have the right to know!

Am pleased to say that the Phatty arrived a few weeks
ago and I've been in sonic heaven exploring its very
nice sounds and response. Had to wait for half an hour
in Turnkey whilst they looked for my gig bag. Then I
achieved the momentous task of pushing my son in his
pram and carrying the Phatty at the same time to get
home.
