Anyone using one? I was thinking of picking one up but wanted some user feedback.

If you have a Voyager or any MF, you need a CP-251.
Even without the expander, think of the 251 as a second LFO and S/H.
Absolutely invaluable.

Thanks. I'm going to go ahead and order one. It doesn't look like very many users here though.

does the CV-ins on the back of the voyager add to the corresponding CV rather than totally replacing them?
not at home now so i cant trie but as i recall it the CV-ins on the moogerfoogers totally replace the corresponding CV.

I think for the most part it replaces them. One exception is the Mod 1 Input CV. A CV signal of 0-5v will control the Mod Bus's modulation up until the maximum amount that is set on the front panel, so in a sense it subtracts from the related CV.

Since this is a CP-251 thread, another quick thought is that w/the CP's CV mixer, you can "add" CV's, so you really have both options.
CP-251, VX-351 in a synthesizers.com rack?

Hi, do you know if the synthesizers.com modules and cabinets are compatible with the Moog CP-251 and VX-351?
I'm thinking of adding the two mentioned modules and a sequential controller from synthesizers.com together to a Voyager, and I'd like to find a suitable cabinet to hold all of them. Are they the same height?
