Just something I recorded yesterday with my LP TE. It's a simple 8-bar loop with 2 layers (modded Plucked Lead and Dr Bass presets). Although it's simple, I like the sound of it. Drum loop and recording/mastering Boss Micro BR (I love this little thing
It would be great if there were more music related topics (I know that it's a synth/tech forum and the main topic is gear, but the gear is used to make music in the end), cause it would be great if people posted more of their work, it's always nice to listen to some cool ideas, even if they are as simple/lame as the thing I just posted. C'mon people, don't be afraid, not everyone is Rick Wakeman and we have to live with it and play on

Here is a little thing I made when I got my LP:

It's just LP and EZ Drummer, recorded and mixed in Cubase.
Hope you enjoy it ...

This thread is a great idea, PHC, I like the sound of the Little Phatty on your recording ...
Assar, that´s a great track. I am really impressed. Mine is not sounding as professional as yours.
It was a very quick recording: only 8 tracks of the Little Phatty recorded in Logic, a little reverb and compression, nothing else - even the "drums" are created with the Phatty ... don´t take the little piece too seriously ...

I enjoyed this thread when it was started a while back, and since I recorded something I thought I would revive it...
There was a YouTube video of Klaus Schulze (since removed) sitting in front of a bunch of synths, and for the first time I saw and kind of understood how those old step sequencers worked. Needless to say, I was intrigued, and after much deliberation and searching on various forums picked up a Doepfer MAQ16/3 sequencer.
It took me an hour of fiddling to get any sound out of it at all - forgot I had unplugged the MIDI cable! Once I got it up and running, though, it's turned out to be very cool, though it takes a while at first. So here's something I recorded after a few days of experiments:
GOTO7
The first row of the MAQ is playing the riff through the Little Phatty. I then split that signal - you can hear the "clean" track (going through my old MF-104) in the left channel. In the right channel I have it going through the MF-101, with the frequency being controlled via the third row of the MAQ by CV (and played through Space Echo). I think I was modulating the cutoff frequency of the filter in the LP too, with the lowest LFO setting. I adjusted stuff here and there by hand. The lead is messing around with the "overdriver" preset.
I hear all kinds of stuff that I would do differently if I did it over again - having the sequenced part be played by two alternating rows instead of one, etc. - but I'm going to leave it as is. Enjoy - I really enjoyed listening to the other stuff posted in this thread!

Cool stuff everyone!
I don't have anything LP-exclusive to show, but most of the tunes on our new EP is rather dominated by Moog LP and the Dave Smith Instr MEK (with some additional Waldorf microQ, Novation Basstation and Ensoniq SQ80 here and there).
Can't give you any direct links to mp3s, but all tracks are streamable at last.fm if you want to listen.

Some multitracking I've done lately. Gear as above.
I feel that my chops are getting better (still a long way to go...)
Making these short clips for posting here is great motivation to practice my playing.
C'mon people don't be affraid, record and post
