some LP Stage funk for ya

Post by Amos » Mon Apr 16, 2007 1:31 pm

Hey all -

here is a phunky little riff I threw together yesterday; just bass, lead and drums... bass and lead are LP Stage; drums are by Brain. It's nothing polished, just a live recording complete with some off timing here and there... but a fun little sound demo, I think. :) Enjoy (or not)!

nice! i like the funny vocaloid sounds!

sounds a bit like james bond sneaking around some old warehouse at night in pursuit of ludmila, the funky russian spybot.

That's fairly cool-like Amos. I think you should develop it... as I'm thirsty for more!

Those are some pretty wild outfits on that site, too.

haha! mwalthius, the mainsite you saw is my wife's... she sewed all of that clothing herself. You should really check out her fractal gallery, too!

martin: great image! You've got it exactly. If I develop it further I shall be thinking of ludmila the spybot... :D

Are you kidding ? How can people who work for a synthesizer company be married ?

Nice audio demo, great sounds.

Thanks DocT! ...I got married first, then started working for Moog... fortunately my wife is very understanding; she already knew I was a crazy musician guy... :D:cool:

FatBass, I think that bass sound is "Bin Shaker" from the LP Stage sound bank, with the attack increased slightly (it has a "pop" on the attack by default) and the mod wheel up a little bit. This is one of my favorite bass sounds.
