arpeggiator/sequencer quest

I just got a Voyager and I'm trying to see how it works with some of my other musical equipment.

I know the Voyager does not have an arpeggiator or sequencer but is there anyway to add one?

I tried to hook up a Kurzweil expression mate to it but it created a studdered rhythm. I have been able to get the expression mate to work with a Micro Korg in monophonic mode so I'm wondering if this is an operating system issue with the Voyager.

Would the Q119 Sequential controller by Synthesizer.com http://www.synthesizers.com/q119.html or the MOTM-600 sequencer http://www.synthtech.com/motmcat4.pdf work with the Voyager? Are there any plans to make a Moog Muisc sequencer module?

The Expressionmate works fine with Voyager. Is local off on the Voyager keyboard so that it's being triggered only by the Expressionmate? Is the Expressionmate set to a program that is multiplying voices and sending more that one note at a time?

Thanks for pointing out the Q119 sequencer. It looks great, and I bet it will work very well with the Voyager. The Voyager has handled all the CV inputs I've sent it.
For smaller sequencers, check out the Frostwave Fatcontroller (16 step CV and MIDI), Technosaurus Cyclodon (16 step CV only), and Doepfer and Analogue Systems also make more fully featured sequencers. They will all work with the Voyager as long as you keep them monophonic.

I don't think Moog will make a sequencer with so many good ones already existing. There is an old Moog sequencer available at RL Music in England if you want the real thing.

Thanks for your response. I got the Expressionmate to work. Any recommendations on delay module that can be synched with a midi clock?

Are you excluding a midi arpeggiator software solution? What about interfacing your voyager midi input to your sequencer software? I use Cubase SX 2 with the included arpeggiator (Arpache 2).

Check out Numerology for Mac OSX if you can...
It is a great analog style sequencer that i use for my Voyager.
It has Pitch and gate modules, access to AU synths and FX.
Lots of weird tweaky features and best of all it works on an anaalog model.
Try this link.

He has a nice demo version. Watch out!! This things deep.
