I just got mine last night and it rocks! Best synth I've ever owned and the sound quality is incredible. Anyone else have one yet?

I just got mine 2 days ago. I've had just enough time to check out all the presets and use it on a track I'm recording in my home studio. I'd been eyeballing the Phatty for a while and when I got an e mail from Sweetwater offering no payments/interest 'til Jan of 2008 .... well I figured why not. My main instruments are Bass and Guitar but I've been doing a lot of synth parts using software based instruments so I figured it was time to step up to the real thing. No regrets at all... this thing is killer!

so there isn't any hooks with that "no payments until..blah blah blah" deal we hear so often?
I've had it permenently engraved in my head that when i hear any words like that i stay away.....i think my parents helped with that.....
they always said the cliche thing: "it its too good to be true, it probably is"
I always wondered why so many people fell for scams my entire life and why i keep receiving junk mail for credit cards everyday, i am always like "who the heck falls for this type of promotion? I'm the one who has to deal with it because a few stupid people actually fuel the junk mail flame by actually buying into it"
maybe i've been missing out on free little phatty's all my life though....hmmm...
*shrugs shoulders*
well, on the other hand I can thank my parents that I owe "$0.00" on all my creidt cards and currently have no debt.....and NO it isn't because my family is rich or something like that, these are all personally paid off balances.
sorry for the rant! hope you enjoy the LP!
mmm...little phatty...

Yeah, there's no strings I mean it's all pretty straight forward. There's no "scam" they aren't trying to trick you into anythng. The only catch is that if you don't pay the item(s) off by the Jan 2008 deadline you are responsible for the full amount of the interest. I don't actually plan on waiting that long but it's nice knowing I have the option. I'm not one to buy things I can't pay for I could have paid for it outright but I figured I'd rather have my cash in the piggy bank in case something else (like and emergency) came up. No credit card debt here either I pay all my balances down when the bill arrives. Once in a while I'll treat myself to something like this and pay it off but I WILL NOT be paying any interest and most likely I'll have it paid off in 3 months.
I hate junk mail as much as the next guy but I don't believe accepting (not falling for) an offer I recieved via eMail is fanning any flames. This is the way most large companies do business these days. They extend credit and if you decide to take them up on it they sell stuff and you pay it off as per the terms of the agreement. If you get yourself in trouble because you buy a whole bunch of stuff you can't afford then maybe you are stupid. They put these offers out there because they know it will give them a boost in sales. I probably wouldn't have pulled the $1250 out of the bank to buy a LP but since I didn't have to part with my hard earned cash up front I decided to buy one. I'd rather pay it off over time and pay the same as I would had I pulled the $$ out of the bank.
Oh Yeah I got SN 650

I have found the presets to especialy usefull as starting points for my exploration, as well as refeence points for how to tweak for a particular kinds of sound.

I second with that but there were only about 10 of the 99 who would do that job for me at least
