how to make Ableton start from initial hardware

Hello, I'm fairly new to Ableton and I'm facing an issue I can't quite figure out.
I've added the Sub 37 instrument to a MIDI track and started recording all the automations (oscillators, filters, etc), while playing on my Moog. So now I have a long track with the recorded performance with a couple of visual automation lanes
The problem is: when I play back the arrangement, the initial hardware state of the Moog isn't recalled properly.
Ideally, I’d like Ableton to start from the exact sound I just saved in the Moog Editor, but I can't seem to make that happen.
Does anyone know what I might be missing or doing wrong?
Thanks a lot!
