Q about MF's rackmounting and patch bays

I have a MF-104 and MF-103 bolted onto the moog metal tray in my rack. Can I mount a CP-251 between them?

Also... I've noticed the 3 "expression pedal" inputs of the MF-104 don't work while patched into a patch bay (i've seen the workaround) - there was no mention of it in the manual, what expression pedal inputs of the MFer's are NOT usable with a patchbay and why doesn't moog list this somewhere? Thanks!!!!

No, the rack mount tray holds either 1 MF + 1 or 2 CP's. Or, no MF's and up to 4 CP's.

The expression pedal inputs work for me when hooked up to a patch bay. Just use TRS cables for connecting to the patchbay.

Every single jack on all of my MF's (except for the CP-251) is plugged into the patchbay. All, cabling for connecting the MF's to the patchbay is TRS. Works just fine, with the exception of the 101 picking up signal from the 102. Easily fixed with a dummy plug though(if nothing is going to the input of the 101). For actual patching make shure you use TRS for the CV's and either or TS/TRS works fine for audio.

Good luck!

likewise stated above, TRS patch cables fix the problem as far as i can tell.
