Maybe this is an obivious one but I just stumbled upon it yesterday and was pretty excited.
If you take the envelope out on the MF-101 and plug it into to the one of the inputs on the Mixer section of the CP-251 and then go from the -(negative) output from the mixer section and plug it into the Freq Cutoff of the MF-101 you get a down motion envelope filter. The range isn't the same as a regular envelope filter(like a Mutron) but it gives you a very cool effect anyway.
Anyone else care to share?
Alright it's time to share your favorite cool mooger patches
I don't remember what this one does but it's written down and it has 4 stars on it so I must have thought it was pretty good. I haven't touched the theremin in like 2 months (bad joke) but seriously, I may have to go dig it out of the closet to hear this again...
You will need: theremin (this might work with another instrument), MF-101, MF-102, CP-251, expression pedals (x2)
Audio from theremin to 101 to 102 to amp; set drive(s) accordingly
Pedal into 4-way (on 251)
Pedal into Mixer 1 (on 251)
Envelope (on 101) out to Attenuator1 (on 251)
Mixer+ (on 251) to Frequency (on 102)
Attenuator1 (on 251) to Mixer 4 (on 251)
4-way (on 251) to Rate (on 102)
on 101:
Ammount 2:00
Mix 4:00
Filter 11:30
Res 2:00
switches: smooth; 2-pole
on 102:
Ammount 1:00
Rate 7:00
Mix 5:00
Frequency anywhere between 10:00 and 4:00
switches: square; high
on 251:
Mixer 1 10:30
Offset: 12:00
Master 5:00
Attenuator1 7:00
Boy, annotation's a bitch! If you can decipher through all that, lemme know what you think.

mf101 envelope out into control processor attenuator
attenuator out into rate on the phaser or ring mod, or both.
set the ring mod up for tremelo, set up the phaser at a nice slow speed.
now you have envelope controlled phasing or tremelo. it works nicely into the resonance of the phaser too. don't forget you can leave the mf 101 off and still hit the envelope.
if you have 2 phasers and a control processor you can set up the phasers in stereo phasing in opposite directions. its not that amazing but my friend said it gave him motion sickness when we were playin. you hafta use the LFO of the processor split by the splitter thingy into the mixer inputs and then use the - out on one of the phasers and set the around max on that one. this one took some serious tweaking. add the envelope rate control (you'll need another cp) and you might have a seisure.
sorry I can't give better instructions but my computer is nowhere near my gear. anyways I don't care if you all post equally vague patches, there should be more posts here.
peace
