Can't get low velocity notes on Muse - is there a velocity curve setting?

When playing the Muse I can't get reliable velocities below about 70. If I very slowly press the key down it'll give me a value of 1 but it's almost impossible to generate anything below 70 with any kind of reliability.

As an example, if I try to play as softly as I can for 60 seconds on the Muse I'll maybe get 5% of my notes with values less than 70. When I do the same on my Prophet Rev 2 I can easily keep 100% of the values below 50 while also getting all the way up to 127 as desired. So... it's not me.

Is there a way to adjust this behavior on the Muse? I can't find any kind of a velocity sensitivity setting.

Thanks

EDIT: screen grab of MIDI data here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NS6ceh ... sp=sharing

The screen grab shows me playing as softly as possible for two bars then increasing velocity for two bars, once on the Muse and once on the Rev 2.

A brand ne Muse a fellow forumer bought in Switzerland has velocity issues too. I'm not sure whether they are exactly identical though. He's bringing it back to the dealer.
Have you tried the newer OS?

Here is the answer he got from MoogMusic:
We are aware of the velocity issues, and our firmware engineers are actively working on a fix in an upcoming firmware update. I do not have an ETA at this time, but the fix is coming.

Yes I got the reply from support today. Thanks.

It seems extremely odd that one of the most basic elements of expression is missing. (unless nobody is actually playing it?).

Don’t hold your breath for a fix. The Matriarch has this problem and it has never been fixed. Moog engineers seem to think they can fiddle with velocity mapping curves, but it’s likely more an issue of keyboard polling speeds.

On the other hand, it is much better on the Model D. That might be simply that the processor on the Mini has much less of a workload.

My unit also has this strange velocity behavior and occasionally dead notes where velocity is 1, but the key was pressed as hard as before. This makes playing with velocity really annoying.
A really bad workaround is to set the velocity setting to 50%. Then the dead notes are at least at 50% volume. But in addition to not beeing able to reach velocity values below 70, the resulting dynamic range is very small.
Seems that I need to return the unit until they get it fixed. I‘m too worried to wait for years for a proper working firmware.
